CHALLENGE
Renault Group, a leading automotive manufacturer, needed to better understand long and multi-touchpoint customer journeys to enhance its digital marketing performance. To do so, Renault Group needed to use more resilient signals, obtained through a privacy-centric, first-party data-oriented solution.
The group thus chose to deploy Meta CAPI, a solution designed to collect and use consumer data on top of third-party cookies data, within its cloud infrastructure.

As Renault Group's trusted data agency, fifty-five has long supported the group in maintaining a stable, resilient, and accurate data foundation.
We partnered with Renault Group’s media agency, OMD, to set up and deploy CAPI at scale within the group’s cloud infrastructure, leveraging available first-party data collection. Our teams collected Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to fuel the group’s performance marketing strategy by optimizing Meta ad performance and driving cost efficiency.
Results
By implementing PII with fifty-five, Renault Group drove +56% more incremental "Key Online Interactions" (online interactions leading to orders) than with CAPI alone.
This integration also turned out to be profitable for the group, enabling its teams to save 37% on performance investments over 8 of Renault Group's top market in 2025 compared to 2024.
